Just finished a run... and I feel really good about it.
I told Abby yesterday that I wanted to start the 5 Weeks to 5K training completely over. I feel like I have done so horribly on it this past month... I think I averaged 1 1/2 runs a week instead of a run every other day. And I didn't do well on those few runs. I knew it, my body knew it. And my MIND knew it.
She told me not to start over, just to jump right back in where I left off. She's a great motivator and probably doesn't want me to feel like I've failed, I'm guessing.
What did I do? I started completely over. I can feel such a huge difference in my stamina from the first time I did the first run! Some things just have to be done MY way! Can I get a little Frank Sinatra playing now please?
Sometimes, no matter how "right" a trainer is, you have to do what you know works for you.
